December is one of my favorite times of year, not only because of Christmas, or the end of the year, or even the end of the semester. I do love December for all of those things, but there is one thing that simply puts the icing on the cake for me, the announcement of Pantone’s color of the year!
The color of the year for 2015 was Marsala and the world simply slayed that color! From makeup, to fashion, and even home decor. Marsala was everywhere. (see my blog and video about it) I loved Marsala, and will continue to rock that amazing color!
Pantone decided to shake things up a bit this year when they announced not just one but two (!!) colors this year! Rose Quartz and Serenity. 
These colors are not only beautiful and paired so well, they have a story behind them is so poignant. Our world is in disarray every where we look. These colors represent the peace
You may be wondering why the heck the color of the year should matter to you. Soon however you will see these two colors everywhere, the same way we saw Marsala slowly become the color.
