If you are anything like me and obsessed with social media, you are always looking for the next big thing. I was browsing the other day and happened upon a new site that was developed especially for makeup and beauty lovers!
SheSaid beauty is a social networking site directed at people who are deep in their obsession with all things cosmetics, whether it be hair, makeup, skincare, or the newest subscription box. SheSaid has something for everyone!
If you aren’t ready to open another social networking site, but you are just as obsessed with the industry as I am, here are a few reasons you should give it a try.
1. You can link your Beauty Blog.
If you have a beauty blog and you feel like you are sharing some great content but getting the readers and viewers that you want, SheSaid is a great place to showcase your blog. You simply create your profile, link your blog and SheSaid does the rest. As you post SheSaid updates live and your content is viewable on their site as well. You can also add a SheSaid button and widget to your blog. You can also add products that you have, want or have tried to your beauty shelf.
2. Reviews for hundreds of products are there and posted by the best.
I’m a product junkie, when I see a new product, I tend to just impulse buy without really looking into how the product is doing in the social realm. Reading reviews saves money, because even if the product comes from your favorite brand there may be reasons it just isn’t for you. SheSaid curates reviews from so many products, experts, bloggers, and every day users are able to review products, which gives you some idea of what to expect.
3. The Beauty Profiler personalizes your products and content.
When you first sign up for SheSaid, you take a short survey. The survey gathers things like your favorite style(s) of makeup and nails, to your skin tone and type. This information is listed on your profile, and featured content is geared toward your profiler results. I find this to be a nice thing since sometimes it can be hard to find content that is relevant to you in the bottomless world of the internet.
