Confession #31: Lovely Lashes Review

Hi there,

So a long time ago when I was answering the Beauty Blogger Tag, one of the questions was, what beauty routine do you usually skip, and I answered that I rarely curl my eyelashes. That really hasn’t changed much. My eyelashes are already pretty curled, I’m not sure if that has anything to do with my curly hair or if it is just my luck.  Anyway, I don’t often use a curler for my lashes.

However when Izy Trends sent me their Lovely Lashes Curler to try, I figured it would be a good idea to add curling to my daily routine.

 

Why should you give Lovely Lashes a try?

1.  It has a 4.6 review for a reason. The curler gives a very nice curl and aside from other curlers I have tried in the past, the curl lasts a long time.
2. Each pack comes with a silicone refill pad, this is good because when putting things near your eyes, you want to make sure that they are cleaned and replaced often.
3. It is very easy to use, if you are beginner curler and a bit apprehensive about using one of these devices, which admittedly looks like some sort of torture device, the Lovely Lashes curler is for you. I have not pinched my skin once, which happens almost every time I use another curler. I also have yet to pull out any eyelashes.

Why isn’t Lovely Lashes for you?

1. This curler is EXPENSIVE, if I hadn’t received this to test complimentary I wouldn’t purchase it on my own. The Amazon list price is $25.95, although it is on sale at the moment for $10.00, so if you want one grab it now! (Amazon Prime? shipping is free.)
2. The design doesn’t appear to be much different, all though I’m sure there is something different since the quality of the curl is much higher. The curler looks like your regular eyelash curler except Lovely Lashes is engraved on the upper part.

My Tips for Using Lovely Lashes:

1. Use this method from The Beauty Department to curl your lashes.
2. Use your blow dryer on the lowest warm setting to warm up the eyelash curler for an even longer lasting curl.
3. Don’t pull to hard or your lashes will come off.
