Hi Dolls!
So I found this awesome website one day called She Speaks, and I signed up. I experienced my first twitter parties and wrote quite a few of my first reviews. Anyways I had kind of forgotten about it being that I got super busy with school and all of my extra curriculars until I received an email saying I had qualified to test some product from Lancome! I of course jumped at the chance, took a quick survey and promptly received my product.
What was the product?
I received Lancome DreamTone in 3 (which is for a darker complexion) check out all the stats of the product here.
My first Impression:
When I opened the box from She Speaks I was instantly excited! The packaging of the product alone was so beautiful I couldn’t stand it! I mean just look at it
First of all the product is scented, which may be a little strong for my preferences, but the good thing about the scent was that it did not linger. As soon as you rub it in it goes away. DreamTone is also very light, its actually lighter then some moisturizers I have, and it doesn’t leave any noticeable residue on your face.
The application process is really simple. The bottle comes with a pump, and you only need one pump to get enough for your whole face. You simply put it on after you cleanse, and apply your moisturizer over that.
DreamTone is meant to be a skin tone correction serum. It is supposed to fix your dark spots, color imperfections, and uneven skin tones. I personally am a skeptical person, so I honestly did not think it would work, but I was happily proven wrong.
I wish I had taken a before picture because this worked for me like a dream! I had these dark spots right underneath my cheek bones that always bugged me because I would have to pile on the makeup to hopefully cover them up. I also have a birth mark underneath my right eye that is rather large and I don’t really like, and around that area I would have a lot of weird colorization, more often than not.
DreamTone helped me with both of those issues, plus totally evening out my skin tone and giving my bare face a bit of a smoother look. The dark spots underneath my cheekbones are virtually gone, the color imperfections around birth mark significantly diminished, and my skin just looked generally brighter! This was only after about a month of continuous use. (twice a day) I am so pleased with Lancome DreamTone!
Lancome is so confident in their product that they are encouraging women to bare it all after they use DreamTone!
I am happy to say that I am comfortable enough with my bare skin (minus a few stress breakouts! I mean it is finals week) to share with you my contribution to Project #bareselfie!
